Dr. Johnna Driscoll graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1990 and has been practicing in Petoskey her entire career. Dr. Driscoll continues to expand her knowledge of dentistry by taking courses from leading clinicians like Drs. John Kois, Frank Spear, and David Hornbrook. She also regularly attends dental meetings sponsored by the MDA, ADA, AACD and most recently the AADSM (The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine). She feels it is important to educate herself and her staff about new materials, techniques and technology, so together they can provide the best care possible.
On a personal note, Dr. Driscoll has three children; a married daughter in San Francisco along with her first grandson, a son living in St. Ignace and she also has a daughter in school in Harbor Springs. She loves living in Northern Michigan and in her free time she likes to read, hike, bike, ski and bake cookies for everyone to enjoy.
Dr. Mercer is a Michigan native raised in the Detroit area. He received his Bachelor of Science from Lake Superior State University in 1973 and Doctorate of Dental Science from The University of Detroit in 1979.
As a practicing dentist in St. Ignace for over 30 years, Dr. Mercer has extensive training in cosmetic, prosthetic, and implant dentistry along with additional training in orthodontics and laser surgery. He focuses on all aspects of family and restorative dentistry including implant retained dentures, partial dentures, crowns, and bridges.
Dr. Mercer is a member of the following associations American Dental Association, The Michigan Dental Association, The American Academy of Osseointegration, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The World Clinical Laser Institute and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Mercer is married to Dr. Johnna Driscoll. They have three children Eryn, Alex, and Julie Marie.
